Taylor Swift's full name is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.A. Taylor Swift became a popular artist and singer in the beginning of 2001 with her tales of pain and heartbreak. Swift's passion for music was evident at an early stage. From children's plays to appearing in front of crowds, Swift made rapid progress. In 2011, Swift at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. In the year following, she started writing her own songs. Swift had taken her inspirations from Shania Twain's music as well as her band the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks within the realm in country music composed her original songs to reflect the feeling of being alienated. Swift's family relocated into Tennessee from Pennsylvania at the age of thirteen so she could spend more time exploring the country music label in Nashville.
